Lord Datta is nature. Lord Datta is every atom. Lord Datta is the universe and that material which keeps the universe united. He is the material that keeps the atom together. He’s the discipline that has united the whole universe, and that which brings forth and dissolves the universe. Datta is not just a person or a personification. Datta is the energy that is behind every personification or every person.

To find Datta you have to find yourself. If you do not find yourself, it’s difficult to find Datta. Datta is the essence of nature, Datta is nature. Datta is the essence of every being. Datta is the essence of karma. Datta is the soul of karma. Datta is the soul of dharma. So, if you look at Datta beyond, is there a space that is beyond Datta or where Datta is not? You won’t find it. Because Dattatreya is everything, everybody, every material, everything animate and everything inanimate.

Dattatreya is the universe, and Dattatreya is the space that is beyond the universe. The universe, including the manifested and the unmanifested. Datta is Shiva, Datta is Vishnu, Datta is Brahma. He is the source of creation. He is the source of sustenance and the source of dissolution. He IS the source. Datta is the Source.
