Lord Datta is nature. Lord Datta is every atom. Lord Datta is the universe and that material which keeps the universe united. He is the material that keeps the atom together. He’s the discipline that has united the whole universe, and that which brings forth and dissolves the universe. Datta is not just a person or a personification. Datta is the energy, which is behind every personification or every person.

Dattatreya & Avaduta Tradition

The Tradition of Avadhutas, otherwise known simply as the Dattatreya Tradition, was founded by the first known being to be labelled as an ‘Avadhuta’ – Lord Dattatreya Himself.

Shirdi Sai Baba

Sai Baba of Shirdi is an Indian spiritual master considered to be among the highest category of Yogis and seen as a manifestation/Avatara of Lord Dattatreya. He was equally revered among both Hindus and Muslims and is now worshipped all over the world.

Dattatreya & Nath Tradition

The first Nath saints were established on earth by Lord Dattatreya Himself.

Agastya was a revered Indian sage of Hinduism. In the Indian tradition, he is a noted recluse and an influential scholar in diverse languages of the Indian subcontinent. He and his wife Lopamudra are the celebrated authors in the Sanskrit text Rigveda and other Vedic literature.

Dattatreya & Siddha Tradition

A Siddha means ‘realized, perfected one,’ a term generally applied to a practitioner who has, through his practice, realized his dual goal of siddhis (superhuman powers and extraordinary perception) and bodily immortality.
